Emad Rashad Othman

Dr. Emad Rashad Othman is an Egyptian medical doctor and mental health specialist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Literature, and Islamic Culture from the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom at Cairo University.
Othman is a member of the Egyptian Society for Psychoanalysis and is interested in philosophy, language, and linguistics. He adopts a dynamic psychotherapy approach and analytical psychotherapy based on psychoanalytic thought.
He has received numerous certifications in counseling and various schools of psychotherapy, including Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma therapy, psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and others.
Othman is a writer and publisher in the field of mental health, with three bestselling books in the Arab world: “I Loved and Tomorrow: Recovering from Relationships with Narcissistic People,” “My Father Whom I Hate: Recovering from Childhood Trauma and Abuse,” and “Full of Emptiness: Recovering from Addictions and Compulsive Behaviors,” published by Dar Al-Rawaq Publishing and Distribution. He has also published a novel titled “Iqtiham” by Nahdet Misr Publishing House.
